01 / The challenge
What the site needed to solve.
Velvet Rose needed a website that conveyed the romance and artistry of their arrangements. Generic flower shop templates felt cold and transactional—they wanted visitors to feel the craft before making a purchase.
02 / The approach
How I approached it.
Designed an editorial, botanical storefront with gentle motion inspired by petals and stems. Category browsing and product hierarchy keep shopping straightforward, while typography and pacing maintain a premium feel.
What was delivered
- Editorial hero with refined type and image-forward composition
- Category browsing section that stays playful but structured
- Story/brand section that reinforces positioning
- Product grid with clear pricing, CTAs, and hover states
- Testimonials and trust signals integrated into the scroll
- Final CTA section that keeps ordering the focus
- Reduced-motion support and mobile-first spacing
